Please forgive the bad photo and the gel wasn’t dry when I had to turn this in… But I used ink and covered it in acrylic gel medium. If I find out when this show is I will post it! View high resolution

Have a look at my first commissioned painting! It is 4’x4’ so it’s also the largest thing I’ve ever done too! All acrylic. View high resolution

I’ve been seeing this on a lot of blogs but I wanted to try for myself. I used hot glue on plain glass vases and then spray painted them. (white and oil-rubbed bronze) The less you try, the better it looks. I think puff paint works better since it doesn’t string so much, but it takes longer to dry.

inked and varnished cradleboard… I don’t think it is finished, or even good, at this point…

…….

Life has gotten crazy the past few weeks, got a promotion at work and also started teaching. I also went to Colorado for a family wedding. I’ve got 3 things to post but who has the time?! Will update with the new projects asap. Just wanted to say I haven’t forgotten.

More Candles for you!!! and even more in next post!

I made this set of 50 cards for a friend who couldn’t find cards to buy that said what he wanted… So I made them! The sayings are his or from quotes that fit. They were so fun to make… I made another set of 50 weeks later that I hope to post soon. But enjoy these until then! I’d love to make more so have a look at my etsy site (not a lot up yet…) and message me for custom ideas! www.lesliemward.etsy.com.
